All in all it wasn't that bad but I certainly would not go back, especially not with the with all the other good places to eat Metz seems to have to offer.

I won't be going back but at least now I can say I have been to a Canadian restaurant. Oh and I hear from other people that the Quebecois beer selection here is very good, although I didn't sample any myself.

Très bons plats sucré salé, la quantité et la qualité sont au rdv. La propriétaire est super sympathique. L'assiette gourmande vaut le détour. J'y retournerai avec plaisir.

In fact that's the part I liked most, the decor and the 'cuteness' of the place. Novelty yes but well done and amusing, plus very clean, which was surprising given the number of knick knacks about the place!

The food was decent though - we shared the 'meat selection' which featured bison kebab, pork ribs with BBQ sauce and some sort of smoked meat, all of which were very tasty. The 'Canadian potato' was boiled rather than baked and enormous. Not very exciting but a novelty in France I suppose, which must be the point of this place really.

Un poil cher, mais une bonne cuisine. Essayez la poutine royale (idéale pour les gros appétits comme moi).

OK admittedly we should have known that going to a Canadian restaurant was probably a bad idea but we were intrigued and they had bison on the menu, which my husband loves.

Très chouette. On était venu a 6 pour goûter le caribou .déception car il y en avait pas. Bison et saumon on peut en manger partout .

The service was very rough around the edges but to be fair there was one guy, all on his own, with about 12 tables. He was doing all the seating, order taking, drinks pouring and serving, food delivery and clearing away, as well as bills and answering the phone. I think if they got a little more help the place would feel a bit more pleasant and clients would have a less frustrating time.

Très belle expérience dans un lieu atypique ou le client est roi.
Excellent accueil, cuisson du caribou parfaite, notre visite date du mois de septembre et nous avons eu droit avec notre café à une délicieuse part de tarte à la mirabelle faite maison par l'épouse du patron, accompagnée d'une boule sorbet mirabelle, un geste rare et très appréciable.
Une adresse que nous conseillons.
