Gran museo. Per gli appassionati di storia una tappa da non perdere. Ben fornito di reperti dal neolitico all'età Gallo-Romana. L'unica pecca che ho riscontrato è che le spiegazioni fossero solamente in francese e non anche in inglese. Motivo in più per imparare bene la lingua dei nostri cugini d'oltralpe.

We went yesterday at 12 only to discover it was to close between 12:30 and 2pm. We decided half an hour an hour would be inadequate so said we would return today. We returned today to find it was closed all day. The website is incorrect as it opens on different days in different months and is actually closed almost every day in January. I suggest you call to confirm the opening time before taking the trip to get there.

Interesting museum of the prehistoric time. Nice staff with good knowledge.

Super saai en passieloos museum. Doordat mensen uit de hele wereld naar Carnac komen, kan men over het bezoekersaantal niet klagen. Alleen geschikt voor Franstalige. De Nederlandse vertaling die aanwezig is, is zo slecht dat zelf mijn zoon van 6 dat ziet.

If you are interested in prehistory, you will find this museum really cool. If not, you may find the exhibition a little long to go through.

Would love to leave a review, but despite Google saying the most popular day to visit is a Tuesday, as of the 1st September it is closed on Tuesdays....

Musée petit et riche. Visite guidée passionnante faite par des professionnels passionnés. Éclaire sur tout ce que l'on peut visiter dans la région. Parfois, des personnes indélicates confondent musée et parc d'attractions pour enfants, ce qui ne se prête pas au lieu.

Museo piccolo ma carino, molte delle spiegazioni però erano solo in francese. Nulla di particolare nel complesso della visita.

Very small museum. French only. Doesn't explain the allignments of carnac. (No one can, but a bit more focus would be nice). It does show the other prehistoric artifacts in the surrounding.
