A must visit if you are in the area. Really well presented underground world, steeped in history and atmosphere. The excellent guide, perfect English speaker, brought the events of WW1 alive. You could imagine 24000 British troops living down there waiting for the order to erupt behind the German Army line.

Fantastic interesting place, a little gem of historic importance and a must see if your in north east france. The guided tour in french and english was worth every penny and at €7 an adult cost pennies

A "must" if you want to learn about the brave & heroic soldiers of the 1st World War and the battle of Arras. Tour guides provide commentary in English (and other languages); you are taken around the tunnels interlinking the old Chalk quarry's - where the soldier's slept, ate etc. and finally to one of the Exits used to mount their "surprise" attack on the German front-line.

A very interesting tour of the tunnels under Arras utilised by the British troops in the first world war. Fascinating and thought provoking.

A huge network of underground tunnels built during world war I. Guided tours only because it is really easy to get lost down here. Pretty impressive.

What a great musuem. A must see for everyone. We were fortunate enough to be on a tour with two people who's grandfathers were at the quarry during it's construction. Your staff were outstanding. The two young men working the day we were there were so friendly, informative knowledgeable about the events that took place at the quarry. Especially how the interacted with the couple mentioned. They are true ambassadors for the museum and Arras.
