Small but nice and close to the UK. An easy drive if you get the ferry from Newhaven. The lodges could do with a refresh. But the swimming pool if very good.

Brilliant place. We found it very quiet and tranquil.
The prices at the on sight supermarket are a bit expensive as are the prices of some of the restaurants especially the buffet. The quality of the food is good and tasty. The service is very good and friendly, they make an effort to speak English to us when they find us struggling to speak French.
We all enjoyed ourselves but generally the park is a little run down. walking at night is difficult as a lot of the street lights don't work.
Our chalet has been renovated, possibly a few years ago. It is comfortable, quiet, and fairly private.
We will be back, thanks for a happy few days.

Very good aqua park, very warm water, plenty activities for the kids. Unfortunately, old hotel rooms, bad maintenance of facilities and park. Seems the management of the place relay on the beauty of the nature and hopes that people will not care about the rest. In our hotel room were two separate sinks with two separate taps, one with hoooot water, another with cold water... I'm not really clear how the management of the hotel was thinking we will use it?! And there were quite a few things like this. Resume: the pool is good, the rest - don't expect much. The price for the quality of this service is too high.

There are larger, more modern and better run Center Parcs over towards the German border and in Holland and Belgium. We wouldn't go back to this one again.

Disadvantages:
Internet speed is low, though you pay 40€ for 7 days, which you assume would be pretty good speed.
Many staff/store/cafes members do not speak English.
The food is far from fresh and is not tasty at most of the cafes inside the dome despite high price.
Security was annoying asking us if we have keys with us to prove we are renting the cottage even after we gave our cabin #. Are they really suspecting a women and a child coming from their own activity (quades) near by? If so, may be they should move all the activities in or give guests some batches/plastic bracelets.

Center Parcs Les Bois in Normandie is a beautiful resort and the cottages that are dotted in the middle of lush greenery gives a feel of connecting with nature.. It has all the amenities required for a satisfying stay (restaurants, supermarkets etc) and a huge variety of activities to choose from. Also, it's a great choice for professional retreats as they have a conference centre which can accommodate around 250-300 people. In all, it's a perfect getaway from the busy monotonic city life...

Advantages:
The location is nice. Houses are clean. Great pool and many attractions for the kids. Stuff on the reception is very friendly.

A park that offers good value for money. The bungalows are OK, the pool-area is fun and staff is helpful and friendly. I recommend the place!

It's ok but the location is a little bit older than some of the other Center Parcs and they're trying to cram too many customers into the available space. So the swimming area is ridiculously overcrowded and you're constantly dodging the golf carts they hire out to people who don't want to have to walk anywhere. There's really no point in telling people to leave their cars in the car park if you're just going to let them drive those carts around instead. The organisation is poor, they expect you to arrive at 3pm on your first day and check out by 10:30am on your last day. But the queue to get in when you arrive is ridiculous and they're still driving around their delivery trucks holding up traffic by parking in the middle of the road. Even small changes would make a big difference - making it easier to park outside the accommodation would mean people could unpack more quickly and get their cars into the car park. If you advertise 9pm as the closing time for the water park you really shouldn't be closing off areas from 8:20pm. I'm sure it makes life easier for the staff but that shouldn't be your first priority.

Terrible, simply horrific. Freezing cold swimming pool, didn't deliver on promised entertainment, and horrendous queue just to get in. These are just a few of a long list of problems.

Great place for families with kids. Some of the cottages are a bit outdated and the main pool area and kids playing area were not well heated (negative temperatures outside).

One of our beds broke down on the first night, and we often found cockroaches and ants inside. The kitchen was very underequipped (one pot and one pan of which the handle broke off). The many entertainment activities you can do there are fine but expensive, and you have to make sure to place your reservation early for activities.
