We greatly enjoyed our stay at Chambre d'hôtes de l'Ancienne Abbaye de Flavigny! Our friendly hostess Johanne was away on a trip while we were there but she made all the arrangements for us before we arrived, and her husband Etienne took marvelous good care of us. He greeted us with cheer even after we were late due to a missed exit on the autoroute, made the most delicious breakfasts and coffee, and spoke excellent English. Our suite was immaculate and very well-decorated; the bed was very comfortable, the parking was free and just steps from our suite, and we lacked for nothing. The location was also very convenient, easily walkable to everywhere, with a green space/park around one corner, a coffee shop and candy store around the other corner, and a (quiet) restaurant across the street. We will definitely stay here again - in fact we are already planning our next trip!
