I've traveled the world, and Chateau de Sully is one of the best places I've visited. If you are going to visit a chateau, visit this one. It's grand, has an amazing history and the people are so kind.

geweldige mooi kasteel, met een rijke geschiedenis, die uitgebreid wordt verteld door een van de nazaten en nog bewoner van dit kasteel . Alleen jammer dat het aan verval toe is.

The chateau is beautiful from the outside but inside the tour is limited to just a few rooms, all desperately in need of repair. Or a good clean at least. The effect was pretty depressing to be honest. The potential is there but it requires a spectacular amount of work!

It was a place with alot of potential but it appears to be mismanaged. I think of the owners were more interested in the upkeep of the interior it would be an improvement. The rooms available for visit are 5 as of summer 2017 which don't view well unfortunately. As it stands I recommend château du cormatin if you want to see a well maintained château and beautiful garden.

Wonderful romantic chateau, glittering in the Autumn sun. So nice to see a place ACTUALLY lived in! Children on bikes and family members working on the lavender. Reading some of the reviews I see people don't appricate shabby? has no one told them that is Chic. When made to look brand new like a hotel vulgar!

La première impression n'est parfois pas la bonne. La face austère du château révèle une visite fantastique de part la famille qui occupe les lieux et font vivre le château ainsi que par le guide qui vous révèle ou plutôt qui vous comte l'histoire fabuleuse de cette famille.
