Beautiful castle dating from 1218 for the master tower with additions in XIV to XVI centuries. Worth a visit to Sully.

Beautiful castle. We really enjoyed touring the grounds. There were even a pair of otters in the moat! Definitely a must-see.

Great spot for a picnic. Free parking, beach on the river, plenty of grass lawn. Your choice. You can also pay to go inside the grounds and castle if you like. We stop there in route to eat, stretch, play, and relax for a bit. Gift shop and toilets accessible without paying admission.

This is in a great spot. We were in a campervan and stayed at an excellent campsite 5min away. We didn't know about the Chateau until the guy from the camping told us.

Spectacular view. Have not been inside though, but a look at the castle with the fantastic reflection on the water is definitely worthwhile

Nice peaceful area with gardens and a lake, free parking. Close to the town centre for restaurants and cafes bars.

Sully is such a nice city, and the castle awesome. Lovely to have a tour along the river

Nice castle but it is a bit empty inside. Where are all the artifacts? The walk around 'la Sange' is very nice. Recommended overall.

This was one of 8 chateaus in the Loire Valley. It is about 45 minutes away from the area where many of the other chateaus are and has a bit of a "road less traveled" feel to it. Plenty of free parking right outside. Grounds are free -- pay only if you want to go inside the building. Surprisingly this turned out to be our favorite chateau because of how picturesque it is but without the crowds and commercial feel of the other top chateaus.
