It's a nicely-appointed motel-style stop-off, with simple, spacious and clean rooms, a nice breakfast area, plain dining room and a great fishpond full of carp that you walk over to reach the decking area for drinks/breakfast. The kids love it.

Séjour d'un WE pour visiter la ville et ses plages. Hôtel confortable. Rapport qualité/prix très bien. Chambre très correcte. Environnement calme. Personnel très sympathique.

The staff are supremely friendly and helpful and very accommodating of bookings in advance over the phone or by email. They are tolerant of my poor French!

I have stayed in this Cositel for 6 years, every August on our journey from the UK to Brittany. It's a convenient stop-off between the ferry at Cherbourg and the drive next day to Quimper. It's about an hour/90 minutes from the ferry and so a great place to reach for dinner (the ferry normally lands c7-8pm in Summer).

- Room 100 is a family suite and fits our family of 5 with ease
- the buffet breakfast is good value and there's a cheaper price for kids
- if you're running late (eg the ferry is delayed) then several times they've allowed us to order a meal by phone, kept the kitchen open for us or one year did a cold buffet when we were very delayed.

The staff is really kind and helpful. The breakfast is a little expensive but you can eat really good brioche and a lot of other things. The rooms aren't really big but they have enough space with a normal bathroom.
Outside there is a really nice place to stay (there are chairs and tables so you can sit outside and talk or do what you want) with a little river with fishes inside.

When we arrive here we know our holiday has started.
