The repair was undertaken across an extremely long period (months!), and although the original problem was fixed in the end, the service provider created another problem that is now irreparable (and the device is still broken!).

The poor service/customer care was unlike anything I have seen. In this shop, the common principle that the 'customer comes first' is most certainly not the case. I will not be using this IT 'docteur' again.

A request for a full refund was argued and declined, and only after an hour of discussion was 30% of the total cost returned.

J'ai déjà fait appel aux services de ce magasin à plusieurs reprises et depuis plusieurs années : récupération de données sur disque dur, réparations iphone, et je m'apprête à y retourner pour faire réparer un ordinateur. J'ai toujours été bien reçue et les prestations ont été également à la hauteur. Lorsque les réparations se sont révélées impossible, cela m'a été indiqué et rien n'a été facturé. Un jour, j'ai amené mon iphone qui ne s'allumait plus et juste au montage/ démontage, il a fonctionné à nouveau: le technicien me la dit et a été honnête, rien ne m'a été facturé.
Je recommande et je m'étonne également de certains avis si négatifs, heureusement minoritaires.

these guys are pretty decent. They always went the whole distance, even when it meant re-repairing my laptop multiple times, they only charged once per initial incident

The technician took 3 months to repair a simple problem and in doing so broke another part of the device. Read a few iFixit manuals before you start a repair service shop people.
