Very nice, but inefficient and quite expensive restaurant.
The room was ok, 80 euros ish. Booked a table for the meal 29euro for the cheapest wine (googled it at €7.50) Wine took 30 minutes to arrive at the table yet ordered it immediately on entering.
Anna took the €29 meal and I took the €49 euro meal deal because it had Fois Gras starter.. VERY disappointed! I have seriously had better patés from Aldi.
Main meal of Canard (duck) came 75 minutes after the starter. We ran out of wine waiting.
Entered at 8:00pm and was about 10:30 ish when we finally finished dessert. It did look busy mind but the wait made it not the most enjoyable meal. And also the Fois Gras... I have had fois Gras before and it has blown my socks of with the flavour.
For €105 I expected more.
Sorry! The staff were very nice though.

Furthermore, the restaurant on site is very good, and the local area appears to have a lot to offer, being so near to the coast.

We stayed with young children and there was always someone on hand to help with whatever requests we might have had (Sylvie the receptionist was especially accommodating!)

Great room with the most amazing bathroom. If not huge, the beds are very comfortable and the design and decoration very thoughtful.

I’ve been coming here on and off, (more off in recently because of distance) for over 40 years.
I was therefore sorry to see some negative comments.
The Bernard family are passionate about what they do, from Mr Bernard’s original move from Paris (?) and the subsequent return of son (s?).

Ferme du Vert has always been about simple comfort, fresh food, and warm hospitality, which from my experience, has consistently been offered in spades!

Maybe there have been staffing problems in the kitchen, but looking at the website, the bedrooms appear to have had a further makeover.. They are looking increasingly sophisticated given their modest beginnings.

One of our favourite stop offs. Just 30mins from Calais and your already in rural France. Good restaurant. Warm easy welcome.

Last time I was there, I entertained former French colleagues for a major birthday with great success.

A truly great Logis. The owners and staff all made a great effort to help us with our infant (cot, high chair, flexibility with meals, recommended children friendly places etc). The setting is beautiful, quiet, French countryside with a beach only 15 minutes drive away.
The half-board option is a bargain given the quality of the food - staying four nights we ate our way through the menu and loved everything.

Very quiet and secluded place. Pleasant and clean rooms. The restaurant serves very tasty food, unfortunately the menu is only in French
