St. Remy, Arles, Avignon, Aix en Provence, as well as many enchanting villages are only a short drive away. Les Baux is a Do Not Miss. The Alpilles dominate the landscape, offering many hiking trails, and panoramic vistas of this part of Provence. Cyclists would take delight riding around the countryside and enjoying magnificent views of the countryside. Wine enthusiasts can spend days just visiting the nearby wineries. Dalmeran Winery is only a short walk from the house.

The house is large and can accommodate a small group, a family, as well as single person. There are 4 bedrooms available, each one with a shower and bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with all we needed to prepare our meals at home, thus, saving money. Dining is a special delight outside, with the bamboo grove adding to the atmosphere.

Le gîte est propre, bien équipé et très joliment décoré, dans un mas provençal typique, avec tonnelle ombragée. Nuits silencieuses, au pied des Alpilles, dans un petit village qui sent bon la fougasse et le romarin. Un vrai délice !!!

I believe the most important criteria in judging a place is if one would consider returning to it. In this there is no question: We would most happily enjoy Claire and Philippe's hospitality again whenever we are in the area.
