A little pricey but delicious.
Had a black bread sandwich that could have a bit more ham and a andocolate/almonds croissant which was perfect.

Best croissant in Paris. Made for real in house. Crispy on the outside, bready, chewy and fluffy on the inside. If you can get one fresh out of the oven, I imagine it would be absolutely heavenly.

A great bakery with a variety of savoury breads and sandwiches and sweet pastries. It's cheaper if you take away but if you eat in you'll get to enjoy this modern little cafe. I loved the squid ink sandwich. Staff were very helpful even with my bumbling French.

I have eaten a lot of croissants all over the world. Gontran still are my favorite. Crispy and flaky on the outside and you can see the layers. The kouign amann is also the best I have had as well. Make numerous stops here every time I am in Paris.

The best croissant I had in Paris. All of their pastries we tried were incredible. And they were very patient with us and our broken French.

This is by far the worst service experience I have had in France. It started off well enough with ordering 2 breakfast specials in my limited French but French nonetheless. The very pleasant young man who took my order was lovely and created no problems. As my boyfriend and I approached the cash register to pay, the unpleasant angry looking girl working instantly transfered to English. Not only did she say we cannot have our original order, she started yelling at us repeatedly "what do you want?!?!?" Her manner implied that she was doing us a favour by serving us and that we should be everso greatful. I rarely ever say this about other women but she was a complete b**ch!! I am not even going to speak to the quality of the pastry I had as it became irrelevant with the crappy service. It was a very nice au revoir slap in the face from Paris. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
