Very pathetic hotel.rooms not at all good, bathroom's latch not working, water flowing out of bathroom. Very shabby looking room with zero safety as the street is very close by. Very high noise of traffic and people shouting till late night. I requested the staff to change or upgrade the room, nk positive response. I would not recommend the place to stay for anybody.

Nice, clean room and good view of the street, but the TV was not working for our whole stay there (admittedly it was over a weekend)

Nice place for the price. The surroundings aren't the best but it is very close from the station and the metro. Would suggest to a friend.

Room, dirty. Area, horrible (near France-Bangladesh funeral services). Light, low and moody.

Nicely presented traditional Parisian hotel. The room isn't huge, but this is the same in most hotels in Paris, certainly within the BP. Bathroom is small, even by Parisian standards. Many other reviewers seem alarmed by the presence of migrants in the local area. This is the situation in Paris right now, there are lots of male migrants of north Africans decent and they tend to hang out together in the streets. During our stay we walked through many such groups with no problems or intimidation. They are people just like you, probably escaping something terrible at home, they didn't come here to hurt you.

Clean, lots of hot water, helpful staff, decent sized room and good value. Walls are thin and the neighborhood is going downhill.

It's a great hotel. Comfy and clean rooms, kindly staff. The only point of attention is the neighborhood that's a bit strange.
If you search a metro route to the hotel don't... just DON'T drop off at Stalingrad station, search for a route to drop off at La Chapelle station.

We stayed here on the Paris leg of our European... the hotel itself was fine. The room a bit small by North American standards but that was fine... it was clean and everything worked. The major issue with this hotel is its location. The area around the hotel gives off this feeling like its a dangerous place... we walked from the train station to the hotel and it was shocking to see hundreds of people just milling around on the street. We were told that they are immigrants and they would not harm us... but it was just a little scary.

We spent a weekend in the Hotel it was great very clean ,although the bathrooms need upgraded ,but were informed that is in progress. The staff were amazing ,helpful friendly ,you would have to go far to reach there standers ,the only problem is that the area round about is a disappointment.

Although this hotel is in the outer circle of Paris - we received excellent service from reception. Good value for money.

Peak of summer (2017) and they didn't have enough fans for all of the rooms (no air-conditioning). If you leave the window open though (necessary), even though we were in the 6th floor there is way too much noise from the street to sleep (even at 3am). Had to use a sleep mask + noise cancelling headphones to get a wink. Very bad night's sleep. Positives in that the front desk guy on the first night was extremely friendly, and the breakfast is well done.

The hotel itself was decent for the price, and the staff was very helpful, most spoke English. The downside to this hotel was the neighborhood. It was in an area that I would not feel safe walking around alone after dark. One night we were awoken to a group of men yelling and fighting outside our window. Close to the metro, but about a 15-20 minute ride to the major sites.
