Quaint hotel in the historic part of Nancy. I loved staying there for a quick getaway. All your amenities such as a quick breakfast at bakery Stephen or a local Elzas dinner are in minutes walking distance ... same for musea and historic buildings

We had a great stay. An affordable hotel full of atmosphere at an excellent location. The room was not big but well equipped and very clean. Staff was very friendly, and all of the city's main sights were nearby. I'll certainly come back here if I ever return to Nancy.

Ein schönes Haus, zentral gelegen, wo jedoch ein paar Abstriche bei der Logistik gemacht werden müssen, wenn mit dem eigenen Auto angereist wird.

Although the place seeks to represent an antique residence, the place could be in better shape. One of the triple bedroom beds was disassembling. The staff was very welcoming!

Das Hotel ist in - fast - jeder Hinsicht ein Haus, das ruhig und zentral gelegen ist. Restaurants und Bars liegen um die Ecke und bieten für jeden Geschmack etwas Passendes.

Excellent location right in the centre of the old town, a 5-10 minute walk to Stanislas Place and a good park (with a mini zoo!). Parking was hard for us as we arrived late on a Friday night and as a result a few streets were pedestrianised. However this looks not to be a problem when arriving earlier and on quieter days. We had a renovated room on the third floor and it was fantastic, comfy bed and ample room with a good bathroom. Breakfast was a continental breakfast which was delicious. Very helpful and friendly staff who spoke very good English. They even rearranged our 2 rooms to get them as close as possible to each other. Was worried about check-in as we arrived late but was glad to find out it was a 24 hour recepetion. Overall, excellent hotel and we will likely return on the future.

Just a short walk from the TGV and I was being served by a charming French woman who helped me by speaking English. The rooms are on the small side but perfect for one who only needs somewhere to sleep and stash stuff - not do gymnastics. WiFi, cable tv for those few moments before spending the rest of day exploring this old city. Breakfasts had freshest of bread, assorted spreads, and yogurt and coffee. Could add some fruit or hardboiled eggs. I'm not a seasoned traveler quite yet, and I appreciated the Hotel De Guise's basic comforts, hospitality, and location - can't beat it, right off Grand Rue with restaurants and cafes, close to the Parc Zoo de la Pepiniere, and 10 minutes walk to Place Stanislas with the crazy night light show. Quiet at night for restful sleep. Felt safe and undisturbed.

Great location in the centre of old Nancy. Arrived late, but no problem checking in due 24 hour reception. Friendly staff who spoke good English. Rooms very clean and decorated to a high standard. Breakfast served to your table in the salon.

Als ausgesprochen trickreich empfanden wir die Parksituation, denn Parkplätze vor dem Haus sind rar und in der Regel durch die Anwohner besetzt. Wir haben unser Fahrzeug am Cours Léopold geparkt (gebührenpflichtig!) , der ungefähr drei Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt ist. Mit dem Auto dauert es wegen der Einbahnstrassen länger... . Zum Ent- und Beladen bei Ankunft und Abfahrt haben wir die Rue de Guise kurzzeitig versperrt und niemand hat sich beschwert. Der Concierge war sehr hilfreich bei dieser Operation.

More like 3.5. Good location, nice rooms, comfortable bed, very friendly staff, that's why I give 4 pts. Rooms are not very well noise-isolated, you can hear your neighbour speak, but it was ok, we didn't have a noisy neighbour. Also, the breakfast was a bit disappointing (2/5 pts).
