Hôtel de l'Abbaye is a quaint and refined abode in a very desirable district of Paris. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very cute hotel in Saint Germain. Set back in a courtyard from the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood, it offers a quaint and lush garden courtyard to enjoy cocktails. Rooms are a standard European small, but nicely appointed.

A quiet, charming hotel on the Left Bank that was a perfect fit for us. Low stress, well located, cheerful and professional staff without exception. Our DX room faced an ivy covered courtyard which would have been delightful to sit in had it been a bit warmer. Breakfast service looks out on the same courtyard. If you like french baked goods, you'll think you're in heaven. Rather than describe it further I've attached a picture. The water pressure in the shower was terrific, even if one turned on multiple streams. The atmosphere is subdued and quiet so the hotel is probably not the best choice for a large group or families with small children. It is, however, a great choice for empty nesters, of which there were many, both French and American.
Lost a point for a very average breakfast. Just walk down Rue Cassette and check out the bakery La Parisenne.
