I went last minute to see of they had a room and the guy (who seemed nice but unmotivated) showed me three rooms. Although they were ready and made-up, they clearly hadn't been vacuumed (which I pointed out and the guy shrugged), had gross bathrooms with dirty holes in the walls, etc and one had a serious mold problem, which they know about but still rent the moldy rooms anyway. The positive reviews here are all from years ago. Clearly manager has changed since then. Avoid.

Very kind people at the reception and located in the middle of Lyon. But I think the 3 stars are nut justified. the Bedsheet was full of hairs and the towels in the shower with yellowish stains. I payed too much for what I got.
Sehr nettes Personal, aber 3 Sterne sind nicht gerechtfertigt. Fleece-Bettdecke war voller Haare, Handtücher gelbliche Flecken. WLAN hat kaum funktioniert. Ich habe zu viel bezahlt für das was ich erhalten habe.

My daughter and I stayed here last weekend for her birthday. We both thourghly enjoyed our stay, all the staff were very friendly and very helpful. Our room were very clean as was the rest of the hotel.
Hotel de Paris has a comfortable feel to it and is very central to all the attractions all within walking distance to old Lyon, the musems and all the resturants.

Stayed here several times. Good location. Hotel is clean and comfortable, but nothing special. I have no complaints, but stayed elsewhere this trip for some spice.

The first room we received smelled like mold. The subsequent room was better, but the AC is controlled by the concierge and it was weak, even though we had already asked for it to be cooler. The location is very close to City Hall.

Many thanks to the staff, we will be seeing you again inthe future..

Uffda. Location good. Everything else, not so much. It is very basic. No AC on a 40 degree day didn't help. I think some rooms have it (based on their listed amenities) but obviously not all.
