Stayed in this lovely place about 7 years ago. The room was spacious with gorgeous wallpaper. The best part that I remembered most was the many jars of delicious home-made jams they served for breakfast, very lovely experience.

A lovely historic hotel in the charming town of Chinon. The rooms are large and comfortable overlooking the courtyard. They serve a wonderful breakfast featuring local vendors. We'd love to return for a longer stay next time.

Beautiful hotel, very quaint and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Staff helped us with restaurant and touring info. Great base for Loire Valley explorations (small car park and nearby free parking). Chinon itself is a fascinating village.

Returned to the hotel 5 years after our initial very successful visit; what had changed?
Perhaps the bar was open later and the room had been redecorated.
What had not changed was the wonderful family feel of the hotel and the sense of welcome that was extended to us to say nothing of its marvellous proximity to the town the castle and the market in the main square.
A great pity we were only able to stay for two nights.

Comfortable quiet rooms in charming little Chinon, with an exceptional array of jams at breakfast. The shower was surprisingly large. No air conditioning but the room was adequately ventilated for comfort at night.

Lovely small hotel, charming owners, good breakfast with variety of hotel-made preserves. Wonderful wine-tasting and talk on Chinn wine region.

Charming, historic property with helpful and endearing owners. Splendid continental breakfast with a plethora of house made jams (our favorite was tutti-fruity).

Our room was spacious, quiet, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Because it's an historic building the owners chose to offer high tech fans rather than alter the building for a/c, which worked well.

Super nice ! The staff is extremely thoughtful in a wonderful environment. Centrally located in the cute town of Chinon, it's the perfect spot to lay back and enjoy the Loire castles. And this breakfast... Special mention for the homemade jams :)
