Lovely weekend with my friend and our sons. We had a lovely meal at le Moulin and a great day to Boulogne, including Nausicaa and the ice skating and swimming at Helicea.

Super tolles Hotel in schöner Waldlage. Die Zimmer sind groß mit einem schönen Bad. Das Restaurant ist absolute Spitzenklasse. Sehr feine und leckere Küche zu sehr günstigen Preisen. Alles top.

For those of you who are light sleepers,or are expecting an undisturbed lay in,be ware!!! TAKE EAR PLUGS !!!!
Having recently stayed at this very pretty location during September 2009,We became aware of the following.There are Cockerill's,nearby, calling to each other from 0430 hrs in the morning and all day.
The walls are not thick, this became apparent ,when at 0500hrs the guy in the next room got ready to depart,using the shower , toilet, and running the tap while he shaved. Having got his shoes on he walked about on the ceramic tiled floor collecting his things to place them in his trolley bag.I know it was a trolley bag, because he dragged it from his bedroom down the long corridor to the the reception and past our door, on the very pretty ceramic tiled floor. A lady then got up and although she was quieter again she put her heeled shoes on and clip clopped around her room until she left.
The T.V is small, and didn't have very good reception, especially on the satellite stations.
If you are expecting Coffee and tea makings, there were none.
The food was very nice,and not what I would call value for money.The staff were polite, but we are not certain that multilingual is a correct description,as at some points we couldn't get what they were saying nor they what we were saying. It is a clean and tidy place lots of information about places to see and things to do, but not enough in English.
In short this Hotel is good if you want to stay for one or two nights and no longer.
Do carry out research about places to visit and bring EAR PLUGS, because as the man at the reception pointed out to us,with a French shrug, this is the country side there are no planes or cars.
A word of warning about the shower in the bath. There is no rubber bath mat to stand on while showering and this very nearly had dire consequences when trying to get out, something like Bambi on ice......

I stayed here with my two children for May half term 2016 and we had a fantastic time exploring the local area. There are tonnes of good visits for kids and the hotel staff looked after us really well with lovely breakfasts and dinners. I would particularly recommend Aqualud in Le Touquet and Parc Bagatelle which kept my 10 and 12 year olds amused for hours. The travel times were a real bonus - 3 hours door to door from my home in Brighton and nothing was more than a 40 minute drive when we go there. I would definitely go back.
