Hotel was basic but location was good for 1 night close to the town and free car parking.

Centrally located with public street parking nearby and 16 private car spaces for 50 rooms. A bit trapped in 1985 with the décor, and could do with slightly better maintenance.. Clean hotel with super comfy beds.. a good second option if others are full.

The hotel is very well located, just across one of the entrances that lead into the fortified town. More over, this particular entrance gets you right into rue de Lille which is where all the restaurants are. Same as a big part of Boulogne, the hotel seems to have been neglected for quite a while. It definitely needs a major overhaul. The staff is very friendly: no doubt about that. The breakfast buffet is standard Ibis: correct.

Very convenient location near the historic area of the city (Cathedral, Ramparts, Bell Tower, etc.). Walk across the street and the Cathedral and cobbled streets with shops are there to explore and enjoy! My room had 2 very comfortable twin beds (with duvets) adjacent to one another and was small, but it was comfortable & clean. Perfectly sized for one (my situation) but still fine for 2 people. My room also had a desk with a chair, attached nightstand, and a small closet. My window with its window bench overlooked the street, but it wasn't noisy and had a nice view. The bathroom was small but efficient, and included 2 hanging squeeze bottles (one by the sink & one in the shower) of all-in-one body/hand/shampoo liquid. The reception staff was friendly, and I enjoyed the included & filling warm & cold continental breakfast options. Lastly, I saw another guest with her well-mannered dog and she told me the hotel is pet-friendly! As an animal lover, that's a bonus to me.

This Ibis had clean rooms, and beautiful views, but the breakfast buffet lacked options. If guests have any dietary restrictions, they're unlikely to be able to eat in the morning.
