Rooms clean and basic with flat screen colour TV , private bathroom and shower.
However disappointed it had no tea/coffee making facilities or iron in rooms.
Staff hardworking and friendly

Cet hôtel est placé à Tourcoing très bon accueil chambre impeccable vraiment bravo au personnel toujours aussi accueillant prix très raisonnable vraiment conseillé de retour dans la région aucune hésitation à réserver une chambre dans l'avenir

Les hôtels Ibis ont une bonne réputation et les prix sont moyens, actuellement 64 € la nuit, pour cette qualité c'est correct... Je viens d'un Ibis à l'étranger, c'était impeccable et le petit déjeuner parfait aussi.

OK: The twin bed room was adequate for an overnight stay.
NOT OK:
(1) I paid for the room when I made the reservation 3 months ago. Two days before arriving in Tourcoing I received an email from IBIS tequesting my name address and *ALL* credit card details, it seemed obvious I was going to be charged twice for the room. I sent an email to IBIS showing my displeasure at this unnecessay, apparent request for payment. The response was non-sensical and without an apology.
(2) In theory (IBIS documentation) the rooms are from 12:00 to 12:00.
When we checked in at 14:00 we discovered the room was not ready.
We asked twice to move to one of several nearby rooms that were ready. This simple request was refused. Again, no apology.
(3) The following day my wife and I were getting ready to check out at 12:00.
To our surprise and annoyance a member of staff just walked into our room, using a pass key, without knocking or sayng anything before pushing the door wide open. Time: 11:47. (At least she said "Sorry". I should be thankful).
(4) The bedding consisted of a heavy- weight "winter" duvet style bedspread, which was far too hot for a summer night (28 July). Not having a simple sheet, it was a case of all or nothing. Result, I woke several times during the night being either too hot or too cold.
(5) The toilet seat was very badly damaged and corroded. Which is an excellent breeding ground for germs.
As a result, I advise other visitors to Tourcoing to choose a different hotel.
