Absolutely wonderful stay at l'Escale.
We arrived late but were greeted with very helpful signs to show us to our rooms.
Rooms were spotless and very comfortable - a great nights sleep.
Wonderful views and so close to the coast where we had time to explore the local sites.
Breakfast was impeccable. Fabulous fresh bread and egg / bacon / cheeses / fruit etc.
Our hosts were very helpful and friendly.
Would stay again and recommended for all. Thank you l'Escale!

Have stayed here a number of times and always found the hotel and staff very satisfactory. The rooms are spotlessly clean. Before our dog died she was able to accompany us to Hotel L'Escale and always welcomed both in the room and the restaurant. Of course the number of dog acceptable rooms is limited so it is advisable to always check well in advance that one is available. The breakfast here is excellent - you can even boil your own fresh eggs! We would certainly recommend this hotel particularly as a stopover to or from the ferry.

Comfortable clean family room, friendly staff, helpful and always with a smile on their faces. Well positioned for our visit. Great breakfast and with plenty of parking.

It's TOO touristy here. Didn't realize it as it was our first time here. Staff are nice enough. Even though they say they aren't affiliated with the restaurant next door I'm pretty sure they are. Restaurant next door is very rude. Only two other restaurants in town so you're limited for options. Beds are nice and showers are good. Breakfast in the morning doesn't come with the stay. Proximity to Cap Blanc Nez is good and you can walk to the place very readily.

Very nice hotel on a super location. Very nice and clean rooms. Friendly staff. The restaurant serves great sea food. We come here 15 years now, and we always had a very pleasant stay.

Don't expect to be wowed by your room, but do enjoy the convenience of being a few minutes from the Channel Tunnel and ferry ports.
Everything is clean, the team is friendly, the shower was brilliant, and even when France feels like it has shut for the winter the hotel's restaurant was busy and the food was good.
France is no longer cheap for us, but the €89 we paid seemed about right.
Walk along the coast, and if you're feeling strong walk up to the Cap.
Some dog friendly ground floor rooms.

Very cosy hotel and associated restaurant. Friendly staff. In a surprisingly beautiful part of France! - we chose the hotel for a one-night stopover on the way further south, and were impressed by the hills, the sea, the peaceful surroundings, and the view across the Channel to England!

Been to this hotel a few times now. Accomodation, staff and location excellent. Not cheap but good Val for quality offered. Had a not so good experience with one of the course during our last visit but rest of meal was very very good so we'll forgive that course as previous visits and meals were no problem whatsoever.
