Hotel La Marine is a lovely, small hotel facing the Old Port in La Rochelle. There's a lush and beautiful interior courtyard garden that can be viewed from the rooms that don't look out on the waterfront. The staff are all extremely nice and some speak a little English. Since it's in the heart of Old La Rochelle, there are many options for dining and recreation available within walking distance. The only caveats are that there is no elevator and parking is available in a public lot several blocks from the hotel, but the location more than makes up for it.

We keep coming back - and we live in France!

We always book a harbour view room and carparking.

The rooms are clean, modern and airy. They are not 'swish' but the location is what you are paying for.

J'ai adoré, le personnel est super sympa, les chambres sont modernes et confortables, le service d'une qualité extrême. En face du vieux port dans un quartier top, à 10 minutes de la gare... Top, et je recommande sans hésiter!
