The hotel is wonderful: it combines the traditional Alsace style with the modern style.
The design is very nice. The furniture is very comfortable. All the materials used are of an excellent quality.
Our room was fantastic, with a good sonoric isolation, coffemachine, little complement (madeleines). All the details are meant to make your stay comfortable.
The reception is great: this was the first time for me, when we were accompanied to our room and explained all the main functionalities of the equipment etc.
A good surprise is that you can find some fresh fruits on a reception desk.
Breakfast is one of the best: sweet and salt foods, for every culture -) Fresh juice as a plus -)
And a great time to spend in a SPA zone. Next time I will make an appointment for the Institute de Beauté, as the prices are acceptable, the place is clean, the cosmetics used is nice as well. Again, next time I will check the prices for the cosmetics sold in the Institute de Beauté before the SPA seance as last time they had good promos but I saw them too late.
Additional comment about the restaurant, which is just wonderful, nice service and the quality of food is excellent!
Briefly, I advice you this hotel and I will certainly return there again

Unusual hotel with roofed inner yard tables and a little bit of spa feeling in the room. Oblique upper floor room ceiling can give you a headache. Reception at night is impeccable, in the morning a bit stiff

Nice rooms, surprisingly affordable and the restaurant serves high quality food with excellent wines. A strong alternative to any hotel in Basel.
