Very nice hotel, friendly staff and good quality beds and rooms. The one thing that was pulling the experience down were the problems with elevators, electricity and water pressure. The hotel feels a bit too worn down and old, could use a bit of modernization/renovation on the technical side.

Hotel Mayfair is a very nice hotel. The location is good, although not what was described on the website. Rather than facing Luxembourg Gardens, it is on a side street off of the road that faces the gardens, so the view was a disappointment. The room was well decorated, but the windows had panels that could not be pulled back, and heavy drapes that were difficult to completely open, making it impossible to open the windows and let natural light into the room. Very nice bathroom, and closet with safe.
We were not aware of the additional $35 per night for a third person as we had entered this information when we booked and the price appeared to include everything. Front desk staff was very courteous and helpful.

The room and bathroom were decorated nicely. Both were very spacious, which is rare for hotels in Paris at this price point.
Location is great! It's across the street from the Tuileries Garden, and close to a ton of restaurants and shops.
The people at the front desk were nice and spoke English.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The staff were very friendly. The room was so big and the beds extremely comfortable. The location of the hotel is excellent. A short walk to all the major sights.

I will not return for another stay at your hotel. Your front desk person (a woman) was rude and confrontational on 2 different occasions. There are too many hotels in Paris at better values to endure rude employees!
