The hotel is clean and tidy but desperately needs refurbishment. Hotel manager rarely gets up from the sofa.

Chauffage au minimum..Voire inexistant fin mars en Bretagne..Ça rend tout juste malade.cet hôtel est très vieillot.dommage.

This hotel is close to the ferry port and has great views over the town of Roscoff. The owner was very friendly and we understood each other even though my French is limited. Rooms are clean but basic. It was cheap to stay here. Breakfast is extra at 7 euros per person. Plenty of bread, croissants, cereal, yogurt, orange juice, tea and coffee. Winding staircase, but small lift is available for taking suitcases up. We were on the third floor with a twin room and double room opposite each other.

We first stayed at the Hôtel Régina with our tourism fieldwork group from Plymouth University in October 2012. They looked after us really well. We arrived in the early morning off the Brittany Ferries' sailing from Plymouth to Roscoff. Check-in, even for our group of 30 with room-shares, was efficient and they arranged extra heating in the rooms for those feeling fragile from the crossing. We have booked again for 23rd to 25th October 2013, for 47 so we must be very happy with the Régina. An additional good point is that the hotel is right next to the railway station (la gare SNCF) for our expedition to Morlaix. I wish Conseil Général Finistère (Penn-ar-Bed) and Brittany Ferries would work together and arrange a coach to meet foot passengers from Port du Bloscon and take them to the railway station; joined-up tourism transport would be a wonderful thing.

Mouse droppings all over the bathroom. Manager did not seem surprised, offered us another room which we turned down and eventually got a full refund. Wouldn't contemplate sleeping there ever... Even for free!

The beds and bathroom were clean. Beds comfortable. However it is slightly run down and aged. The shower was a shower head in a bath, no shower head holder. I didn't try the food. I would stay here again if in a tight spot
