One of the worse experiences of my entire life. Rude, not helpful employees. The place is super dated and the food is just horrendous. Can't wait to leave.

Small but decent rooms. Bathrooms were quite small as well but expected from an old building. Staff were alright too. We got a room with a view of the street which was as good as you can expect from the Hotel's location.

(April of 2008) I showed up to the hotel with reservation in hand, however I messed up. I had reserved the wrong night. The staff was absolutely wonderful. I expected to be charged for my mistake. The staff however did NOT charge me for the night prior that I had missed. When I asked about parking, one of the receptionists said they would show me. I expected them to point out the way. However they got in my rental car, and guided me around the winding one way streets in Lourdes and showed me exactly where to go. The parking is in the hotel, but you have to navigate the streets to get in the parking entrance. The staff did everything they could to help. They were truly angels, and true servants. This hotel is VERY close to the main entrance to the Grotto. It took less than a minute walking which was really nice. Coming back from the Grotto after 11:30pm Mass was a short well lite walk. The only weakness was the food. Maybe it's my American pallet, or food selection, but I did not like the food. The four cheese pizza was lousy, and the breakfast although extensive was not to my liking. The room was very comfortable and clean with a balcony that overlooked the street. While this was not a 5 star room, it was very clean and very comfortable. There was also free internet access so I could Skype the family back home. I can't say enough about what a great place this was to stay. Excellent value for the money. Room rate was reasonable, internet was FREE instead of the normal 20 or so Euros charged at other places. The parking was very close and inexpensive. Absolutely perfect location.

The tangerine room is a ton of fun, especially when a group is singing. Hope to get back soon to visit. The food isnt great, so dont expect any cuisine. Otherwise a good place to gather
