depuis le rachat par de nouveau propriétaire.
nous y sommes allé une fois.
et cela seras la dernière.
accueil exécrable.
sans parler du service.

nous n'avons pas fini le repas et nous sommes parti.
cela est regrettable var avant c'était une bonne adresse

This review is long overdue as I went there with my husband 3 months ago in october as part of a steam train expedition ('Train des Pignes') for our 2 years old.
We had a very warm welcome, the staff was very nice to our baby and the boss (though very discrete) turned out being exceptionally nice and helpful as we encountered difficulties to return home (pb with cabs, trains etcs.).
We had a fantastic Secca (sort of local bresaola) and what we agreed was the best Daube we ever tasted (Ps: I am French, born and raised in Provence where this dish is an institution !:-).
we didn't try the hotel part but clearly the boss had only recently taken over and invested a lot in refurbishing the entire place while keeping good prices.
This comes in total contrast with our experience in the village of Entrevaux - where I hadn't been since I was a student and found totally unfriendly and dilapidated. This is a shame for a village of such history. We understood the Vauban's boss, alongside some other locals, was pushing hard to improve things and this is certainly worth encouraging and supporting !
