I have seen that they have change the decoration and part of the menu since I was there. When I dined there, food was traditional of the region, rich and tasty. Pricey but good.

I think I didn't order well at this restaurant which affected how I feel about it. I had the pork with cauliflower gratin for lunch - one of the plats du jour. It was just ok. The people dining next to me had food that looked really tasty. The atmosphere was good and the service prompt and friendly.

Très bon rapport quantité qualité prix. C'est de la cuisine traditionelle du terroir. C'est très goûteux. Les serveuses sont sympathiques. Formule complète à midi entrée+plat+dessert à 17€. Dommage il n'y a que la terrasse accessible au fauteuil roulant.

Great food served on a terrace with a nice atmosphere.

I just find 23.00 € for a bean stew a little dear.
The high numbers on the price list were also confirmed when a couple of women next table complained about paying 40 odd euros for a bottle of regular wine - the glass bottle was nice I must say. The waiter said that is the price on the wine list. They also mentioned their dishes were average - but not to the waiter.

Wanting to try Cassoulet, the local dish, I was ready to wait for 20 minutes as the waiter said that is the time it takes to cook. It is not the sophisticated option, beans and meats stew, but it came on a terracotta pot and it looked and tasted good - if a little too rich.

It was very annoying that there was no English menu available or any assistance from the waiters. How would I choose if I don't even know what is on the menu? I appreciate that this is France, but not a small village where you can't expect foreigners.

Service was not to write home about either - the first drink came after 3 reminders and took its time - chairs outdoors are very simple and not too comfortable, ... indoors is traditional, beautiful and cosy. The food took longer than mentioned and the waiter offered a plate of nice ham and apologise for the wait.
