The island is a wonderful small paradise . . .
but the hotel seems to function mainly with interns who did not even major in tourism, it seems. At the reception desk, you will have to fight if you have reserved through their website : don't forget to bring your screenshots of what you've booked!

There is no night manager : the poor guy who stays up at night has to clean up all windows, doorbells, etc...during the night. You'd think that such an hotel would have a great bartender, belonging to the Pernod-Ricard holding, but the guy apparently never had an alcoholic drink.

Now, the food. You'd think there would be plenty of local fish? You're joking : it's mostly salmon (not even wild) and the occasional (small) tuna fish. The chef probably thinks he/she is best hidden and never shows up to see how the guests feel. Last time I was there in 2014, they had discover Modena vinegar artfully drawn on the plates and kept doing it whatever the dish.

And, the wifi is anemic at best and disconnects you every two minute.

Supposed to be a four star hotel, the coffee is worse than bad & old Nespresso (if not worse, in a big lukewarm pot). The cheese are served right next to the ham. Yummy for our muslim brothers ;) . Croissants and chocolate rolls are served directly from . . .the freezer after a quick tour in the oven, where they are overburned. The milk is neither organic, nor fresh (think UHT). Don't even bother asking for soy milk or any other substitute. They seem to live in the 90's.

The swimming pool is a real treat : if it did open at nightand not according to a timetable which only satisfy the employees, who are mostly unsmiling. Worse than all : a scorpio has been spotted a few times in the sundeck : welcome to risk-lovers! You have been warmed.

In short, rent an apartment or a villa! The hotel is really overpriced.

Juste ouahhh ! Magnifique, calme, le paradis ! Une eau translucide, un joli petit port, une randonnée à faire la prochaine fois...
Train touristique à faire en arrivant !super sympa, très ludique et éducatif grâce aux explications du conducteur se retrouvant guide très efficace et qui plus est avec une touche d'humour.

Île sympa pour balader la journée ou se baigner. Il y a l'Institut océanographique qui est pas cher et sympa à faire

Très jolie île avec une faune et flore remarquable. Très agréable car aucune voiture donc le cadre est vraiment reposant. De plus les sanitaires pour les plaisanciers sont vraiment beau et propre.

L'île des Embiez est un très beau lieu de villégiature. Port très agréable pour le voilier mais la place est un peu chère 40€ la nuit !
Le restaurant gastronomique le Garlaban est à ne pas rater avec sa terrasse au-dessus d'un port et son bar en croûte absolument délicieux, le plat signature du chef.
