I suggest you avoid.

I have seen menus in England written in such a way that they make the food sound better but are difficult to understand, I think this must have been one of these. We could only make out one or two items (beef and salmon) but not the way it was cooked. We saw entrecote on the menu, so decided to order that as the main, but the waitress said that was no longer available. We decided to leave as we could not understand the menu even with the help of Google translate, then suddenly the waitress realised she could speak English, this was a surprise to us as she made out previously that she didn't understand when we spoke English.

We have travelled around France for 6 weeks and found nearly everyone very polite, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately this was not such an occasion.

Concernant le repas je suis pas cuisinier mais je fais la même chose chez moi, pas de menu plus carte proposer la moitié est épuisé à bonne entendeur si vous voulez vous amuser la bouche choisissez une autre adresse

They only had 250ml glasses for beer, so whilst looking at the menu we asked for another beer. She made actions to tell us to drink up first, stood and waited while we did and then filled the same glasses. I have never had such an experience they should buy some more glasses.

We had dinner here at the end of the season. The kitchen caters a compact menu with lovely seasonal accents. Regional products and wine are incorporated in the menu. Furthermore the service was apt and very friendly. All together we had a good evening in an intimate atmosphere for a very decent price.

When the meal came it was disappointing and not worth the price.

En soit rien à reprocher à ce restaurant situé aux abords de Saumur mais un rapport qualité prix décevant. La salade César est bonne mais beaucoup de sauce... Quelque peu étouffante. En commandant un verre de vin, nous apprécierons qu'on nous demande notre avis sur le vin qui nous est servi ainsi qu'un renseignement sur le prix...

Amazing restaurant sitting close to the Loire river. A wonderful selection of Armagnacs from Chateau De Laubade and nightly specials sure to delight. The kid's meal was wonderful and had some of the most delicious meat in it. We stayed nearby and this was a convenient place to eat but if you are driving by it is certainly worth stopping without a doubt.

Une ambiance tendue électrique dans les cuisines (Haussement de voix) et qui se ressent au service... d' autres part il serait bien de respecter la demande des clients , quand celui-ci demande un plat sans viande ! Depuis quand le poisson pousse t il dans la terre ? A bon entendeur....

Super acceuil malgré l'heure tardive a laquelle nous arrivons, 13h30 a 10 personnes. Nous avons bien mangé a la terrasse de ce charmant restaurant. Les plats étaient bons et copieux et les prix très corrects. Nous avons passé un agréable moment.

When we arrived at the restaurant the waitress was distressed that we had not made a reservation as if they could not fit us in this made us feel unwelcome. All night there were only 8 people eating including us, so what was the problem?

The only reason I rated it as 1 star is that the garden was nicely decorated and it had nice table clothes and napkins.
