One of the few proper cafés I know in Lyon. Very good coffee, very nice cake. Absolutely no excuse to go to Starbuck's anymore!

The only pity was that after the brunch we were too full to try their cakes and other pastries ;)

My favorite coffee bar in Lyon, and we tried all the best spots in in town. Delicious everything. Nice outdoor seating space on a quiet city square. Free wifi.

I have looked up online which place is famous for its Sunday brunch and so my sister and I ended up at la boite a cafe without reservations - but fortunately they could accommodate us.

The Sunday brunch we have had was extraordinary and I can warmly recommend it to everybody.
Very good coffee as well.

The menu is in English and the staff speak English too. Good selection of teas and coffee. Ciabattas and cakes are sold too. Inside, order at the counter. Outdoor seating on the street/ courtyard. Very relaxing.

Lovely quiet street/square. Coffee great! We went there twice to have breakfast on the small terrace. 2mns walking distance from Place Louis Pradel.

Definitely not my favorite place for a coffee. Was disappointed in the flat white (think it was a single shot instead of a double that I am used to). The flat white tasted very watery/milky and I had difficulty tasting the coffee itself. I did like the terrace seating though. Nice on a sunny day.
