Stopped in here for a beer on our way back from a day out exploring. We were the only people here, service and beer was ok.

Praised in Guardian article some time ago. Pulled pork burger cold. Fish edible. Vegetables overcooked. Place needs a clean up.

Nice vibe at this stop. We did coffee and quick snack while strolling the streets and was pleasantly surprised with service and quality.

Nice food, friendly staff that even talks English and not expensive for a location so close to the Sacre Cœur.

So, if you happen to be staying in the Montmarte district when visiting Paris, stop by Café La Cigale for Happy Hour and something to snack on. Despite the language barrier, this is clearly a place to see and be seen; it seems to be where the cool kids hang out. Extra points if you can score the couch in the front.
