Went there for lunch at around 2pm: so, past peak time. No greetings at entrance, no asking how many we were. The restaurant manager, seemingly of Asian origin, only muttered out: "go upstairs for food". Waiter upstairs gave out the menu and within 30 seconds came back to ask us what we wanted. We wanted 2 more minutes, and ended up waiting for 25. Then one waitress came, started writing and suddenly just went away. We asked our first waiter if we could order and he asked us to...wait?!?!? After 45 minutes we gave up and left. Told restaurant manager that the wait was desperately long and waiters not being serious. He replied "Well, that's the way it is"
That is sooo not the French way of doing things. AVOID THIS PLACE if you want good souvenirs of your trip to Mont Saint Michel.

Too much of people and no waiter or waitress who should care about us. We waited for 20 mins and no serving. The tourists next to us made a joke on us. It was the worst experience in the Mont-St-Michel!

Lovely cozy hotel room. Nice need, linens and pillows. Great location and beautiful bay view. But weird that reception closes at night, but did not need them :)

Very slow service. Food was cold by the time it arrived. Waitress spilled wine on my dining partner. Go somewhere else.

A great moules mariniere. Quick and efficient service. Very reasonably priced.

A typical establishment that has such a good location that it will always got customers. But this establishment is serving terrible food. Even the coca cola was without gas. How can you mess up coca cola ?. Pancakes where from rubber, salmon was overcooked and famous omelout was without taste. SHAME ON YOU !

Visited there last week. If you ask something from waiters, no response at all. Some of our group left after waiting without any service. We got service after several "excuse mes". Very arrogant waiters. Worst service during our visit in Normandy.

I should have read the reviews before go, but as someone here pointed out, with a such good location I was expecting a better service. So wrong. Terrible service, unfortunately I do not speak French, so when I was trying to ask the waitress about the food (vegetarian here) in English, Spanish, Portuguese and German she just looked away. We ended up ordering just a green salad. It took forever, it wasn't good and we found a hair. Please, just go somewhere else.
