Service charge was included in the bill, but waiter said it goes only to the boss, so insisted that a tip has to be paid for him.

This is the worst meal I have ever had.

Only reason that didn't give a 1-star was because our service was good. Attached bill image below as proof this review is legit:

We have lunch here and have special of the day for lunch. The waiter asked us if we like anything to

DO NOT GO HERE! Stopped in here on my way to the Eifell Tower & words cannot describe my experience.

This place is disgusting and no one should ever eat here. It is little more than a street hustle by a collection of people hoping you are stupid enough to pay extortionate prices for crappy food. They will nickle and dime you until the cows come home with absolutely no remorse or shame.

This place makes its money off of extremely shady business practices. DO NOT EAT HERE. EVER. AND MAKE SURE PEOPLE KNOW.

Stopped here for a bite to eat on touring the Eiffel Tower, what a horrible experience! The waitress with dark short hair was the rudest woman I have ever come across! Slamming cutlery, shouting at customers and just a horrible attitude. We asked for two coffees and she snapped at us "milk or no milk COME ON?!?" Rolling her eyes at us and very intimidating. Considering it charges nearly €16 for a glorified toasted cheese the staff would be a little more curtious. I would avoid this place if you want to enjoy your trip as it will put you in a bad mood! Horrible staff

AVOID THIS NEST OF FILTH LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

Food was mediocre at best. The water and other items that we did not order but was forced upon us doubled our bill.

STAY AWAY!! The manager assaulted my mom, leaving bruises on her wrist and knee. We ordered two pizzas, water, and a lemonade. He brought us tap water, watered down sprite and cold pizza, while up charging us for everything. After we refused to pay 65 euro and attempted to walk away, he blocked me from leaving , pushed me, and then grabbed my arm to try to keep me there. My mom pulled out her phone to YouTube this, he jerked her phone away and put her in a stronghold, forcefully grabbing her shoulder and wrist to take her down to the ground. I ran next door to get help from another restaurant and they called the police for us. The police arrived and we filed a report. If this happens to you, if you are scammed and this guy tries to intimidate or muscle you, please call the police (+18 is the emergency number) and report him, as he is now on record.

I would give this place minus stars and it still would not adequately describe how bad this place is. The food is inedible and the wine is like dish water. This is a complete tourist trap as no person in their right mind would return. I especially love the way they charge 9+ Euro for a coke. They also charged me for a chicken meal I did not order. I tried to explain but they seemed to ignore me and pretend I ordered it. They also do not take AMEX. I was told I could leave my 14 yo daughter if I needed to run back to my hotel room. Luckily I found my card at the bottom of my purse. They then asked if I wanted to leave a tip. WTH. I will have to sort out the overcharge with my credit card when I return.

It is clear the owners are scamming tourists.

The server humorous and friendly but the 49.30 € ($60.78) bill was ridiculous for low quality food and hot chocolate. The spaghetti my wife had was overcooked and watery (not properly drained/strained). 6.10 € for a small (expresso shot cup size) amount of hot chocolate is kind of ridiculous unless it's extremely good (it was very average office-grade).

Stopped in here to get out of the cold with my girlfriend to grab a hot chocolate and had a horrendous experience. The waiter slammed menus down and asked us to "pay now" when I ordered the two hot drinks. Then when he arrived with the receipt the total came to a whopping $17.80 rather than the price on the menu which was considerably less. We didn't take a sip and instead asked after the odd pricing. The waitor snatched the menu away from me saying "this is a bad menu" and went back inside because he clearly had been caught out.

I wish I had seen the reviews first... we were outside just checking the menu and immediately a server to my wife by the arm and led her inside.

Nice dishes, this place seems always crowd, the bier is good and the menu is available in many languages.
Some waiters make a warm and nice service, but there are someones who are totally impatient. It's sad.

Being forced to order the most expensive dishes in the the menu.

My girlfriend and I went here after visiting the Eiffel Tower, we ordered a hot chocolate and an Irish coffee that somehow ended up costing 40 euros. FOR TWO DRINKS. This was despite the fact that it should have 15 according to the menu, which is EXACTLY what we paid for after arguing extensively with the manager who was trying to charge us 12 euros for two glasses of tap water, which was forced upon us without us asking.

Ordered medium priced wine, but waiter brings most expensive as that's only one available.

I saw the other posts and was worried, but all in all for a tourist section of town we weren't disappointed. The food was fine. My picky kids were able to find something and the waiter we had the two nights we went was very nice and was very helpful at pointing out a few off the beaten path points of interest.

The only reason I am giving this place a one star is because I can't give it zero. This entire restaurant is cancer personified. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE.

My girlfriend and I were disgusted and decided it best to get our things and leave. We were walking off down the street when a lady chased after us making out it was all a big misunderstanding and that she was sorry for his behavior and that we should come back inside. By this time the whole experience had left a bad taste in our mouths and was far beyond saving.

Be wary of this place. In retrospect it is definitely a tourist trap strategically close to Champs de Mars (near Eiffel Tower). There was a London (UK) couple next to us that fell in the same trap. Most restaurants in Paris are not low-quality food like this.

A couple beside us had also been overcharged by more than double what their bill was actually meant to be and I would not be surprised if this "restaurant" actually sold their credit card information to third parties.

Special price set menu "not available" despite the board displaying it being outside.

Everything others have posted previously pretty much sum up the restaurant part. We asked for water and the waiter quickly brought opened bottles of water and poured it into our glasses before we could say we wanted tap water. They brought us croissants, cakes, etc which we thought were complementary, didn't tell us anything, and charged us a hefty price for it at the end. 4+ Euros for a small piece of bread, 5+ Euros for a small bottle of water.

Do not under any circumstances visit this cafe despite its pretty exterior. The staff were the rudest I have ever come across and I don't wish anyone to be treated the way we were.

P.S. Two Coca-Cola's will cost you 16€

To top it off, the bill came to 47€ & THE WAITRESS CHARGED MY TRAVEL CARD AUD DOLLARS THEREFORE MY BILL CAME TO $61 AUD.

Great food and attentive staff. We dined here twice during our vacation.

I ordered a pizza & it was literally a microwave pizza.
