Disappointing place, with poor food and poor service. We were unlucky to eat there while the French soccer team was playing during the EURO 2016, and it was an awful experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed a lovely warm meal here on a cold evening in November! We had great service, even voluntary translation of the cooking terms to English while we were struggling with our dictionary of culinary terms. We ordered the 3 courses for under 16€ each with a glass of wine (Bordeaux and Medoc) and were delighted! Flavour and portion sizes are not sacrificed for the realistic price. As has been said, it was tough to choose from the many options for each course. Our stellar starters, pumpkin clafoutis and veloute, beautifully prepared and seasoned, were served promptly and hot. Next, our main course choices were andouillette with Roquefort sauce, and faux fillet with beurre d'hotel, (with sides of fresh greens lightly dressed and crisp frites), served just as we finished the basket of fresh bread. Creme brulee and clafoutis aux griottes for dessert did not disappoint. Please excuse any errors in French as I am not bilingual. In short, this restaurant had great value for the money, served food all day long, and had plenty of seats outside (with heaters for the cold) and inside, comfortable seating clean washrooms, etc......a fantastic find in a touristy city like Bordeaux! We readily recommend this place!

Relaxed setting for dinner overlooking the fountain in the Place du Parlement. They have indoor seating and outdoor. Very reasonable 3 course set menu for 15€ and 25€. Not fancy food but really good and typically french. I was a right ole piglet and had a prawn salad to start, fish with very rich linguine and a little chocolate fondant *ahem* and wine. My fellow piglets confirmed that steak tartare and the rossini steak was really good. Kids are also welcomed.

Amazing food, exquisite wine, very well priced menus and excellent service. Couldn't ask for more. An incredible dining experience in Bordeaux. Ignore the negative reviews from people who must only eat at Michelin star restaurants! Highly recommended!

Pleasant outdoor dining with generic menu. Have some of the bug salads

I'm surprised to see the low reviews. I had a great dinner. For 15.5 € I had 3 generous courses with about 7 choices per course. I had a decent glass of wine for 4 € and the waitress was really friendly and accommodating with my limited French. I recommend this place for a real French experience without breaking the budget.

Food was awful and the waitress brought not the wine I ordered. Don't take the canard, they make fries with it.

Terrible service, average food.

If you order the cheese for desert they bring you a mountain that will require a team and experience to defeat. It was beyond comprehension. Please put a warning on the menu, I almost fainted. Everything was excellent, the duck, the beef carpaccio and free water. They do not serve free water in Spain.

Good frites and drinks, great for people watching, otherwise was not worth the money. Mussels were dirty and the French Onion Soup was COLD and then piping hot when they came out a second time as if they microwaved it. Service brought out extra frogs legs for us by mistake and got mad at us for not wanting them...

Very hectic and unattentive service. Didn't feel welcome.

Pretty decent lunchtime menu with house wine. Nothing spectacular, and portions on the mains were on the small side, but overall recommendable.
