We ate here three years ago and made the effort to come back because the quality of the food is just so good. Service is friendly and polite. Recommendation of the day was the turbot and it was truly excellent. Highly recommend.

One of the best affordable restaurants in La Rochelle. Cooked food, well served, correctly priced. Very varied menu. Decently priced wines selected to fit with the food.Charming reception and engaging original decor. Does not get too loud, even with the lunchtime crowd.

A block from across the market, locally sourced top ingredients: you can stroll through the markets and the menu reflects what you just saw that is in season....st jacque dishes is a MUST and not to be missed...my grilled seabass is a good 2 lb plus entry..exceptional..excellently prepared..great service..a candidate to break the rule to repeat visit to a restaurant within one trip

Excellent food, great value for a 3 course meal. I recommend you make a reservation beforehand via email or phone; place is usually packed

Un petit repas très fin et un cadre agréable. Poissons cuisinés avec goût et raffinement. Je conseille ce lieu.

Etant moi-même dans la restauration, je ne laisse jamais de commentaires négatifs car c'est un peu trop faciles et ils sont fréquemment injustes. Cependant l'accueil et l'attitude à notre égards ont été absolument incorrects dans cet établissement. Nous avons été placés puis complètement ignorés. Pas loin de 20 minutes pour simplement obtenir la carte. Nous avons eu 20 minutes supplémentaires pour apprendre le menu par coeur, puis nous sommes partis. La patronne/serveuse s'est dite soit disant débordée sauf qu'un client, arrivé bien 10 minutes après nous, s'est fait fait prendre sa commande sans tarder. Il y'a donc dans cet établissement une sélection des clients discriminantes. Et ma femme étant chinoise, fut-ce là la raison de leur mépris à notre égard? Je ne peux accuser gratuitement de la sorte, mais dans tous les cas, l'accueil fut ici incorrect et irrespectueux.

Well done.
