We had two bad experiences at this place- 1st in 2004 when the proprietors / chef had a good reason to leave the staff to run the place.
So this year we thought we would give it another go - should have given it a miss.
The menu offered at the table was nothing like the one online - excused (eventually offered) was that it was low season (in September) and hence skeleton staff only who would not be able to handle a full service menu.
Obviously the place is due for a refurbishment with broken furniture and the 'terrace' in bad repair - plus I locked myself in at one point - and only managed to escape via the terrace door .... maybe they should close the place for summer and just open as a winter chalet ?

The restaurant is very nice. The dishes are great. A nice view.

I would pay twice the price if I had to! It's just a wonderful chef, probably the best restaurant I visited in my whole life. If on your way to Andorra, have a stop here, you won't regret...
It's beautifully dressed, seasoned and it's original.

Nous avons passé une super soirée grâce à toute l'équipe du Chalet.
Tout était délicieux!.
Fraîcheur et équilibre parfait des saveurs, cuissons savamment maîtrisées pour terminer sur un dessert tout en subtilité et en légèreté. Bravo à tous et merci encore de nous permettre de vivre à chaque fois d'aussi beaux moments.

A unique experience, right by the river, 1 minute from the ski access. Fantastic food, great people. Go.

The service was great and everything we tried in the menu was interesting and wonderfully executed. They had many touches like herbal emulsions and infused oils that separate cooking from great cuisine. Can't recommend it enough!

One of the best meals we've had all year. Decisively one of the best in the area. We were recommended the place by our guide for a mountain biking tour who said people are never disappointed. We could see why.
