Hôtel merveilleux ,image du Paradis sur terre ,propriétaires extrêmement
gentils et prévenants, on ne pourrait que donner la note la meilleure à cet
hôtel romantique.
Il y a longtemps que nous y sommes allés mais c'est un souvenir plein de
charme et de ravissement que nous en gardons .Tout est beau ,le château ,le parc ,les arbres ,la nature environnante ...

Beautiful compound with very good services. We had Room 3 with the window that opens up to a view of the trees outside lining the driveway. Perfect view to wake up to everyday! Pretty decorated room, and many other nice common area like a reading room, heated pool and sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner at the chateau's restaurant as well...I wished I had stayed there 1-2 days more. Will definitely be back again!

“Don't go there, never pay in advance - n'y allez pas, me versez surtout pas pas d'arrhes ”

A month ago we booked a room for two, for only one night. We had friends who also booked a room.
They made us pay the whole price, 331€ cash in advance, pretending they were full. Unfortunately my uncle died a little more than a week after, i.e. 10 before date of arrival. We immediately sent death certificate. They first didn't get back, then reverted saying they'd see if they have other reservations in which case they might reimburse. They never did. 2 days after reservation we receive an email saying they had many cancellations and they'd have to debit full amount:
- 1st time I encounter hotel managers who behave like this in my whole life
- they say they're full but don't believe it
- never accept payment in advance
- better -> DON'T GO THERE

Il y a un mois nous réservons une chambre pour deux, pour une nuit. Ils nous font payer 331€ en avance, prétendant qu'ils étaient complets.
Malheureusement mon oncle meurt peu de temps après. Nous leur notifions formellement, 10 jours avant la nuitée. Ils nous ne répondent pas tout de suite. Aucune s condoléances mais bon... Ils finissent par écrire qu'ils nous rembourseraient s'ils relouaient la chambre. Aucune nouvelle jusqu'à deux jours après la réservation: e-mail laconique, arguant que les temps sont durs, les annulations nombreuses. Et qu'ils doivent tout débiter !
Conclusions:
- je voyage très souvent mais c'est la première fois que j'ai affaire à un management d'hôtel aussi inélégant
- s'ils vous disent qu'ils sont complets c'est très probablement faux
- ne payez jamais d'avance
- et surtout N'Y ALLEZ PAS !

My wife and I returned in late October 2014 for a brief stay. Probably the fifth time back over 20 years. Once again the atmosphere remained congenial and inviting. Staff is very helpful with great suggestions for dining in the area. The building and grounds seem to never change - always well kept, lovingly appointed and very comfortable. Catherine is a superb host.

We had an amazing lunch in the terrace! Food, wine, service - all 5 stars!
