Pretty much the only place to eat in Albert in local holiday season. But that's great. Very friendly staff, the owner makes everyone welcome. Food was excellent. Steak and salmon particularly nice as we're the desserts. Ate here three times and were more than happy. Recommended.

We spent two days in Albert and during those days we had two meals at Le Corner. We went as a school trip of around 30 for two dinners whilst we were there.
The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was happy and warm in the pub. We went to the pub during the Euros and the football was shown during our stay which added a fun atmosphere to the eating time. The food was typical pub food with every meal served with chips and beer being available to the teachers.
However, the food that was served on the first day was strange and was unknown. There was a steak/burger looking food which tasted like meatballs being served with the usual chips and for the vegetarians was a rushed cheese salad with chips. The meat option was flavourless and dry. This was served with a choice of water or Coca Cola and a salad bowl which were followed by a chocolate Cornetto ice cream for pudding.
On the second night there was a delicious chicken served- with chips- and for the vegetarians there was either a cheese omelette or another cheese salad. The chicken was served in a sauce but was fatty yet not greasy.
Unfortunately there was only one toilet and one urinal which did not come with privacy. There weren't separate gender toilets and the toilet wasn't hygienic with the sink being next to the urinal. This was inconvenient as we were a large group and weren't the only customers in.
Overall, the experience could be improved but the staff put in a lot of effort into making sure that we were comfortable during our dinner.

Excellent, best place for food in Albert. You may have to wait a little while when it's busy but the food is excellent and well priced, and the staff are very friendly.
