Looks like a surfer's bar, but is actually a gourmet restaurant. This is also reflected on the prices though.

Nice hotel and location but with no AC and no fans in the rooms. The windows can be opened but very noisy from the busy restaurant downstairs and lots of street noise until very late at night, and also early morning from delivery trucks. Had a very uncomfortable stay in June. They did give us a small fan but was really inadequate. Restaurant good but nothing special compared to the many restaurants in the area and along the beach front.

casual and fair, Guethary is the kind of resort most people drive by without stopping. Le Madrid is casual and so is the food. it seems every restaurant in the area serve the same kind of food, I felt disappointed by the lack of attention and creativity. every employee were very friendly.
