Rapport qualité prix de fou. Un cadre chaleureux dans un superbe village normand. Le chef est particulièrement chaud sur les desserts. Parfait après une randonnée à vélo dans les marais.

Le Pavé d’Auge
The perfect place to enjoy the rich dairy-based cuisine of inland Normandy. Occupying the magnificent half-timbered market hall at the heart of the most ravishing village in the Pays d’Auge, the Pavé d’Auge serves unabashed meat-heavy feasts in splendid surroundings. In keeping with its Michelin star, you can expect all sorts of amuses-bouches and extras, but the experience is rooted in good, solid local produce. The tender poached chicken, served in “jus crème”, is utterly wonderful, while even the bread comes studded with apples.

We've been going to the Pavè d'Auge for over 15 years -in and out of season- and every visit is a fantastic experience of French Cuisine at its best. Set in middle of the central square of the picturesque village of Beuvron en Auge, the culinary experience is staged in a most beautiful setting. Looking forward to our next visit!
