We had a fantastic meal and had chosen here based on good reviews and that we wanted to sample and eat seafood. Whenever we are in bordeaux we tend to OD on cheeses and red wines ....... this was a welcomed change and a very good and atmosphere filled venue and location/area ........ surrounding area has plenty of bars and bistro / restaurants to suit and this is viewed as a higher end choice without being formal and fine dining. No complaints with the pricing

Loved this place. Read the reviews, do not understand some of them. I did not have a reservation by got a great table. It was early but I had flown in that day and needed to eat early. I had spectacular service everyone was friendly and made great suggestions.
I had the local fare. Oysters and mushrooms. Oh so good. I may have to come back and try other dishes

Recommended for couple or group of friends

We went on Thursday evening. The waiter was just right and the food was delicious. We had fish soup and grilled sardines, sea bass fillet, and coffee with mini dessert selection and a lovely dry rose wine. It got really busy and there was a real lively buzz. A great experience.

The food was ok to average. I had an insect crawling out of my Oysters. To make matters worse the blonde waitress we had wasn't paying any attention when we ordered and brought the red instead of the white and when we told her we didn't order it she gave us lip and told me that I had shown her the red, even though I didn't order the red. It got worse as we waited for over 20 minutes to get the correct bottle and the food was full of bones.
I wouldn't recommend going here. It's not worth it.

My personal favorite for eating seafood in downtown Bordeaux. It is busy but the staff works hard to find seating. The food is good enough for celebrities going in incognito here.

Some mixed reviews ....... from our experience we'd recommend here : food was fantastic, wine was well picked and paired and the service was perfect.

Food was "meh" at best. Service and atmosphere were good.

Good fish dishes. Very very crowded!

They have two sections / parts. We sat in the restaurant which is to the left ( i think ) of the main part. We preferred the decoration in what we guess is the newer area and also we wanted space as the main part was busy and compact

Very busy even on a Monday night in August and it showed with long wait for the wine and food but the fruits der mer (seafood platter) was well worth it. The grilled sardines were quite delicious. Wine fantastic and very reasonably priced. Would come back, but ask for a table outside to make sure you’re noticed when waiting for the food...

Amazing fish place in Bordeaux, a must-be unless you don't eat fish. Fish dishes are tasty, decent size (even the starters), and wines are great. Even my parents who are not fish fans loved it. Staff is also attentive and fast despite the place getting busy most of the time.

Recommended by Rick Stein's Long weekend. Try 'Mayg' fish which is a type of Bass. A giant looking Bass. Meaty fish. Supposed to be pricy, with down to earth decor.
