When we walked past the Hotel Du Rouf Pizzeria looked quite good: The pizzas were expensive but so was everything else in Corsica. The beachside restaurant looked inviting and was almost empty. We spotted an empty table by the beachside and headed for it. Of the 40+ tables, only 3 were occupied, so we didn't anticipate any problems. No sooner had we entered and headed for the table, however, a jumped up waiter headed us off claiming 'ze table is reserved'. With no indication that that table (or any other table in the empty restaurant) was actually reserved, we came to the conclusion that it was us that were not welcome instead. Granted, we’d been 10 days on the gruelling GR20 hiking trail and were looking a bit ‘ragged’ but we’re all three impeccably behaved professionals and two of us went to a posh public school, don’t you know! How much more posh and cultured do you need? Needless to say, we weren’t welcome and were ushered in to a corner, well out of public view. French waiters really are appalling with their displaced sense of status at the root of their problems. We would have been model customers: a little demanding maybe but well-behaved, polite and respectful. Thank goodness the restaurant at Camping U Pinarellu campsite came to our rescue. It was a lot nicer and cheaper too.

Excellent rapport qualité prix, cadre somptueux (les yeux dans l'eau) et personnel très agréable et compétent !

Arrivés pour le premier service. Pizzas excellentes comme d'habitude mais desserts un peu moins savoureux. Nous n'avons pas eu droit à la coupelle de cacahuètes lors de l'apéritif (pourtant préparée sur le comptoir...) Peut - être sont-ils que pour le deuxième service. Personnels très aimables et très professionnels. Dommage que le boss regarde régulièrement sa montre pour être sûr d'être dans les temps pour le second service....

Rispetto a 10 anni fa si è un pò troppo "infighettato". Primi troppo cari (un piatto di linguine € 33). Buono il pesce pescato in giornata. In 4 (mangiato pochino) abbiamo speso € 192

La Pizzeria du Rouf, juste à côté du Rouf. Très belle vue sur la baie de Pinarello, bonne table, mets copieux, service très agréable et sympathique.

We had lunch at the outdoor bistro. Seaside view on a very pleasant terrace, good food, and good service (the staff literally runs!)

Le resto est correct, la pizzeria aussi, les prix sont conformes à ceux pratiqués dans la région de Porto Vecchio (un peu cher)
