We were here doing the Tour du Mont Blanc in august and we had a lovely time. We spend there the night and had dinner and breakfast. The food was delicious, well prepared and a lot (lamb with tomatoes and rice, lentil soup and a very good desert). The location is amazing with a direct view over chamonix valley and Mont Blanc.
We slept in a cabin with 4 beds, very good conditions for a hut, clean and warm. However it doesn t have any windows and it is kind of strange. Also, the rooms are not well isolated and you could hear the others. For us it wasn t the case as we were the only ones there. The guardian was also very nice and he prepared us good breakfast as well. I really recommend this place and hope to return.

Hurt my leg in the slopes, so I desided to find a place to wait for the rest of the group to finish their skiing. Asked the lady behind the cashier if it was possible to sit somewhere, or if everything was booked. She told me that I had to order food to be able to sit, and so I did without any further thought. She was clearly annoyed that I still wantet to sit at a table instead of the bar, so I told her that I would be okay with the bar, even though I preferred a table due to my leg situation (as it later turns out, I ruptured an old injury in my ankle). I ordered a french onion soup and a cup of hot chocolate, but without taking payment, she suddenly left. I didnt understand her behavior, so when she returned after about 5 minutes, I tried being even nicer than before, just to sort out if it was me she didn't like, or if it was something else. Once having payed, I asked for directions to the bathroom. She pointet to the outside door, so I asked if the door is outside. After a little more attitude and a roll with her eyes, she said "down the stairs". This review is getting way too long, but to summarize: horrible service, felt really unwelcome, zero compassion, long waitingtime for the food versus the hot chocolate. The drink was completely cold within the time I got the soup. The soup didnt taste much.

נקלענו למקום במסלול טרק הTMB בשעות הצוהרים בחשש לסוג טיב עלות וכמות האוכל(לאחר אכזבות בשוויץ),הזמנו פסטה ברוטב פסטו,קיבלנו מנת שף משובחת ואכותית,וחומרי גלם איכותיים,לקקנו את הצלחות,מקום מסודר ומוקפד,תודה-ומומלץ בחום.

Food was fantastic, staff were lovely and funny. Classic warming French food. Food was not cheap, but better than most ski restaurants.
