Used to be an excellent airport, quick and easy to fly into. NOT ANYMORE. New passport checks that started in April have caused chaos. It now takes over two hours for the TWO passport staff to manually enter the passport details of every passenger on their old dial up PC,s.
They do not have the electronic checking facility used at major French airports and ALL UK airports, they are not prepared to do anything about, believing the flights are mostly Brits and they can just wait on the stairs or Tarmac until their two hopeless plods are ready.
Total disgrace these are not just one offs or isolated incidents. It occurs on every arrival and has since the 10th April, avoid airport at all costs. If you have been effected complain to your airline and contact Simon Calder the travel correspondent for the independent and BBC tv

I like this airport. Eateries OK-bilingual French/English staff most of the time I think, airport staff OK but multitask so can get delays in processing passengers, regular planes, ..its small and simple with what you need. Toilets OK, car park (2) OK, one posh, one no frills with gravel everywhere.Biggest downside, unless you go by car/taxi there are NO buses to this airport from Limoges...nice little earner waiting for someone if they have a spare...er...bus.

Absolute shambles in everyway. Will never use this airport again when travelling to our house in France. Arrived last week on time, had to wait over ONE HOUR to get our passports checked by the two slowest officials I have ever encountered. No air con and baking hot as the building is made all in glass. We had to entertain a 16 month old toddler for over one hour due to the sheer incompetence of these people. Nearly missed the collection of my car as the car hire place closed at 5.30pm then missed an appointment at 7pm due to the massive delays. Staff are unsmiling and unapologetic (obviously!!). Could not have been a better experience at Bristol, even though numerous flights all arriving together (rather than 1 small one at Limgoes) we waited no longer than 10 minutes to be cleared from passport control. Avoid this airport at ALL costs unless you want your day made miserable and stressful. Disgraceful.

Absolute disgrace !Obnoxious staff..
Boarding is total shambles...poor guys had to manage 2 planes ..Only one seurity line...Planes arrived in time from UK and were delayed to poor management..And this happens everytime.To top it ..restrooms are filthy..Unfortunately will have to use it again since there are many flights to the UK...

Horribly slow passport control. Four Frenchman watching and standing, just two controlling passports. I spent 40 minutes in queue.

Tiny airport and quiet... I went there on a Saturday and there was no bus to take me there so I booked a taxi which cost €24. There is a nice cafe/bar where you can sit in or outside... a newsagents and there was a restaurant upstairs (not sure if it was open) Don't go into the departure lounge until as late as possible as there is nothing but seats, toilets and vending machines (you need change as they don't take notes) Overall, lovely peaceful, non manic, stress free airport but if I go again I won't go through to the departure lounge so early

Two passport guys to process an entire plane load of people. Flight was twenty minutes early but that and more has been lost waiting in this queue...
