All these locations are within easy driving distance (less than 1 hour), and need half a day to visit. Manoir Camelia hosts can provide more information, and even gave us a folder with details to carry around while driving. Very useful.

Our stay was 1st class i could not fault anything from our welcome to our Farewell Steve and Gill excelled.

With 2-3 hours driving you can also reach these cities: Bordeaux, Saint Emilion, Sarlat, La Rochelle, Cognac, Saint Jean d'Angely.

Then Champniers et Reilhac is within walking distance - try out the restaurant by the name of Le Relais and give our regards to the owner!

We had a great 10-day stay in France, in a relaxed neighborhood and quiet nearby towns. Room was excellent, and hosts were very friendly and helpful. Food was great, both at the Manoir and at nearby restaurants.

Comfy bed, amazing breakfast and a great evening meal ! Easy to find and lovely hosts, what more could you want?

We had our own car so I cannot comment on public transport in the area.

Bed & breakfast located on the edge of the beautiful village of Champniers et Reilhac in the heart of 'The Parc Naturel Régional Périgord Limousin' in the North Dordogne. Surrounded by 1800 km² of scenic forests and beautiful lakes and villages, making Manoir Camélia an ideal base to explore this stunning area. Good food and wine. Great spot to stay when the village is hosting the night markets throughout July and August.

What a lovely place to stay! Steve & Jill are the perfect hosts, the rooms are tastefully furnished and comfortable - home from home, or even better maybe. Jill cooked a superb dinner - Patrick gave her a score of 110%! If you get the opportunity and are in the area this is a superb resting place. Thanks to both of you.

It feels like staying with relatives.

Be careful of restaurant times... most are from 12:00 to 14:00 and 19:00 to 21:00 and will not serve anything outside those hours. The owners of Manoir Camelia are more flexible, e.g. if you plan a long day and will be returning late for supper you can talk to them and they will do their best to suit your needs.
