Hospitalisée 3 jours. Chouchoutée matin et soir. Opération rapide bien passée. Quelque soit le niveau l'accueil est impeccable

Très bon accueil en ce qui concerne la radiologie pour mon expérience pour un contrôle d'une clavicule cassée. Par contre des retards permanents de plus de 5 minutes malgré la prise de RDV et l'attente des résultats après radio est trop longue. Ne vous attendez à un roman en ce qui concerne les comptes rendus de radio, ça tiens sur une ligne et c'est très impersonnel. Je préfère maintenant me diriger dans un petit centre de radiologie bien plus humain et qui sait me dire ce qui se passe.

My step daughter has had an operation there today Wednesday and up to now the care has been second to none she was very scared about the procedure but she was given reassurance that all would be well
A big thank you to all the staff for looking after our girl before during and after her operation

Fracture de la main de notre fils mineur . Prise en charge en consultation en urgence puis opération également en urgence. Service du docteur André : Une excellente équipe administrative et médicale. Une prise en charge et un suivi parfait. Soulignons la très grande qualité humaine de tout le staff.

Etablissement moderne, personnel compétent et aux petits soins. On frappe avant d'entrer dans votre chambre, et on n'allume pas le plafonnier en pleine nuit pour contrôler votre tension ou votre perfusion... Le chirurgien qui a opéré mes vertèbres est une "pointure", sorti du bloc le soir à 20h30, j'étais debout le lendemain matin. Une étoile de moins pour le dépassement d'honoraires, modéré, mais significatif.

Bonjour opéré vendredi 27 octobre en ambulatoire, RDV à 10h re sorti à 15h45. Opéré du poignet droit tout s'est bien passé. Très bon accueil, prise en charge par le personnel médical très professionnel et chaleureux. Opération impeccable, aucunes remarques négatives à faire et remercie tout le personnel pour leur professionnalisme. Je recommande cette clinique

My wife, Loraine, who had fallen in Sarlat and transferred to Perigueux Central Hospital where for 4 days she lay without any professional medical attention other nursing. On entry through emergency the head Orthopaedic doctor said her fracture did not need operating but 3 months bed rest. Horrified with this diagnosis we looked at other alternatives much to the chagrin of Perigueux.
Our Sydney surgeon Dr William Walter Jnr put us in touch with Dr Jérôme Essig who instantly examined the x-ray which we provided and stated they in his opinion the fracture and prosthesis needed immediate surgery and invited Loraine to Médipôle. He also provided an all up quotation which to me as a layman seemed very reasonable compared to Australian medical costs. In round figures the private very modern room was €710 per day ( Périgueux for share room was €1852.96!), the new designed double mobility prosthesis €2,800, Surgeon €920 , anaesthetist €500, radiology €100 and laboratory €250.
All up €8,282.83. As I had no insurance this was a bargain for a world class facility.
We moved Loraine by ambulance on the Friday June 7, a long weekend following, Périgueux gave no assistance in arranging and on arrival Loraine was met by the Administrative Head Dr Robin who accompanied her to her room. Soon after we were visited by Dr Nicolas Krantz, who informed Loraine he would be doing the surgery assisted by Dr Essig. He advised that the procedure would be complex due to the seriousness of the fracture and informed about the new double mobility prosthesis. Then she was visited by the anaesthetist. On the Saturday of the long weekend both Drs Essig and Krantz called by and informed the operation was scheduled for Tuesday morning. For the remainder of the long weekend she had visits by the surgeons and other doctors.
Tuesday the operation was very successful but not without it's complications for a duration of 2 hours. The new prosthesis had extra long stem with 2 bolts at the knee end, then 7 ties and further bolt at the double mobility cup. Loraine was visited daily by the surgical team. On the following Saturday Dr Essig dropped in. On the Monday Loraine was discharged with a very detailed portfolio provided by Dr Krantz.
As we need to remain in France for approximately 6 weeks, Médipôle was very helpful in organising excellent nursing aides. Whilst, for professional reasons, they could not recommend an individual we have obtained the services of a wonderful nurse who resides in nearby Camaran. every day at about 19.30 she come to treat Loraine' bed sores and inject enoxaparin, a very competent lady. Also from same village comes the physiotherapist Eric Bossert, and the GP, Dr Jean-Philippe PUECH a very accommodating physician.
I am of the opinion, if in Europe and you require orthopaedic attention you could not find a better team or hospital than that of Médipôle Garonne
