A gallery in the centre of Aix entirely spoilt by the entry process which involves waiting in the full sun for 30 minutes or so, with no shade and no apology. Excessive airport style but inefficient screening and very slow cashiers.

Interesting museum made by a family of collectors. I have appreciated especially the modern works of art. They also have some Cezannes, Picassos, Van Goghs and some classical and neo classical artist. I recommend this museum. You will also like its extension, which is in a nearby building. Give 2 hours for the visit which costs 9 eur.

Such a shame. I wanted to go for a visit but the visiting hours were not changed online.

Went here with high expectations. Even though there were a few artworks that I loved, most of them were quite juvenile for my taste.

Nice place, the exposition wasn't to my taste but everything was good, the way it's exposed and the audio book.

A modest collection of art with a smattering of really good pieces. The Giacometti drawings were my favourites.

I travelled from the UK to visit this museum and discovered that it is closed without notice on the mobile version of the museum website. The website of the city Tourist Office is still recommending a visit to the museum. I strongly suggest a phone call before making a trip, to avoid disappointment!

Permanent collection has nothing interesting. Good exhibition of Cezanne. The other building Granet XXe is a must visit though due to some amazing Picasso masterpieces.

The museum is nice, with many pictures from Cézanne. I went with my family and the access with stroller is just climb the stairs! Not allowed to enter in the opposite street where supposedly wheelchair people have access. Inside the museum the access is no problem since there is an elevator.

The museum is not very large but interesting. Inside there is a section dedicated to archeology (small) as well as works of art. Here is mixed modern and classical art.

I like the museum. I've seen interesting temporary exhibition and a permanent part. It's bigger than expected. I wish there was a café.
