I found this place informative and with good displays. The only thing I didn't like was a museum Helper from the museum opening the display case and letting the public try on and take selfies in the British French and German war helmets .I had been to visit my grandfather who had been buried in a local Commonwealth war cemetery for a hundred years so I found this practice in the museum of trying on the war helmets and taking selfies in bad taste and disrespectful as if making light of the war especially after seeing a film at the museum on buring the dead in mass graves

If you start the tour in Personen - ok. If you have started the tour in Albert then NO. You will not get additional other information than anywhere else.

This is an excellent museum. The English language film at the beginning of the museum is so good. It briefly explains everything about WW1 in a way that even a child could understand. The museum is also very good. It has lots to see. There is also another film that is about the Battle of the Somme but you need to check with reception when it is shown in English if you need it. We bought a combined ticket with the Thiepval museum about 25 minutes away. It was good value €10. There is a small cafe in the Peronne museum and the town is quite pleasant to visit.

It was okay - gave a some historical background to the war and the small section of war art was interesting. Otherwise little to differentiate it from other ww1 museums or visitor centres in the area.

Nice museum lots of information also a cafe and a museum shop. One thing on our vist we saw was the museum team encouraging and letting people try on world war one helmets and then letting people take smiley selfies with stupid pose's in the helmets. This is lacking respect for the soldiers who died in world war one and I found this in bad taste and not very respectful to the fallen soldiers so because of this fun making I wouldn't vist again.
