A surprising place !
Sure, it is a little expensive (around 16 euros) and you have to make a reservation (Internet or phone). But once inside, you are transported to a surreal place. Everything reminded me to the Tim Burton worlds : circus-like characters and objects, but old, low lights...

Fun, cool, quirky and interesting fun-fair museum. Tour is in French but the tour guides speak English and answer any questions you might have. One of the most interesting and off-the-beaten-track experiences in Paris!

Wow, the museum is extremely rich, and the tour is very impressive! Remember that you should book online ahead of time, they don't admit by showing at the door. After visiting the museum, I realized how much hidden history the city has to offer.

A very fun collection, the guide was great and full of motivation. It is in French but you can get a summary and the guide still gave an explanation of the coolest things for the English speakers.
The price is worth it juste for the finals ride :)

Enjoyable experience! Our company arranged gala evening at this place.
There are almost 7 childish games. We can play and win surprise small prizes! That's a very nice experience.
And a show with robotic toys and disco lights was good!
Can enjoy drinks, food.

Truly a step back in time. This is not only a wonderful museum that educated you on the art and craftsmanship that went into crafting games and amusement park rides but its a magical place that is beautifully arranged and displayed on the site of an old winery. Look for signs of Alice and the Mad Hatter while you're here.

Absolutely amazing place.
Only downside was the tour was all in French, perhaps a once a day English option would be good.
The English booklet was nice but had only about 1/20th of the information that the guide talks about.
I still give it 5 stars though, beautiful.

A wonderful place, worth taking the train to the far end of Paris for. The tour was 1.5h, in French. It's an interactive museum where you can get to try the rides.
There is so much to see in this museum, it's decked out from the yard, to the ceilings. Great sound systems and lighting to enhance that feeling of how the décor and games would've been in a night setting
The tour guide was very passionate although I do not understand French. Best to find out in advance if you need to join the English tour ahead of time!
Tip: Come in pants as you will get to try out the bicycle ride- my favourite

This museum is not free and it is difficult to book and find a time when it is open, also whilst we were there it was all only in french. That said it did not distract from the carnival atmosphere and the sheer joy at seeing all the wonderful unique carnival rides which you could go on and games. The building is wonderful inside and out and we thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

Great private museum. Guide did a very good job for the English tour. Very good collection.

and a good break from the "don't touch anything museums". A wonderful private collection of fun fair artifacts including working marry go rounds from the beginning of the 19th century - and yes, you will ride them! We took the english tour - our guide delivered a fantastic show and tour through the 4 exhibition halls. It's magical - like traveling back in time. The rooms are very well decorated and put together with a love for detail. Be prepared to participate in a horse race and practice your waltz dance steps. Taking pictures is allowed. Well worth the money. Definetly a special place to make your Paris trip even more special.
